And taking this on- or off-road confidence a step further is the adaptive and self-leveling AIRMATIC suspension, which is standard on the GLE 580. This advanced suspension system utilizes pressurized air to automatically react to road surface changes, driver-selected performance modes, or heavy cargo loads.

This thoughtful engineering and design is also very apparent in the GLE's passenger area, as premium hardware, advanced technology, and peak luxury come together to deliver an elevated driving experience. Fully digital instruments appear to be floating on the well-appointed dashboard, while an artfully minimalist center console hosts just the necessities alongside an intuitive touchpad used to interface with the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system.

And part of why the GLE is able to keep physical buttons to a minimum is because the MBUX includes an AI-powered assistant that learns and adapts to your needs and behaviors. You can speak naturally to request certain vehicle functions like climate control by saying "Hey, Mercedes, it's cold in here." Or set a navigation destination to a nearby cafe by saying "Hey, Mercedes, I need a coffee." MBUX can learn your daily routine, and even new phrases.
